Campus Firewatch Could Just Save Your Life!

Recently I had the unique pleasure of conducting a live Code Red! radio show interview with Ed Comeau, publisher of Campus Firewatch (www.Campus-Firewatch.com), an online publication started back in 2000 focusing soley on campus fire safety issues.

If you are a college student living on or off campus or you're a parent of student attending college, you need to be aware of Campus Firewatch because their information, resources and FREE online educational program at: www.igot2kno.org could just save your life!

Since 2000, at least 139 people have died in campus related fire incidents in both on campus and off campus environments.  Statistics reveal that approximately 20% of the fires have killed 43% of the victims.  To hear important fire safety information that could be the difference between life and death in a fire emergency, be sure to listen to the Code Red! radio show interview with Ed Comeau at: http://scrnch.me/CRRS02-24-10.

You can also visit our main Code Red! radio show website at: www.CodeRedRadioShow.com.

Just Because Security Officials Are Nearby, Doesn't Mean They'll Intervene In Dangerous Situations To Help Keep You Safe!

A lot of people make the very false assumption that they don't have to be overly concerned about their personal security or safety because if an altercation or other incident occurs, other people nearby will automatically get involved to diffuse the situtation or they can just summon private security personnel or law enforcement officers to the scene to handle the crisis.

Unfortunately, this isn't always the case!  Recently a teenage girl was savagely beaten by another teenage girl in broad daylight at a bus terminal area in the State of Washington while several uniformed private security officers assigned to the bus terminal area stood by and watched the beating in progress but did not intervene because their "working orders" required them to simply "Observe And Report" what was happening and stand-by for law enforcement officers to arrive on the scene to take police action.

Here's a link to the sickening video of this broad daylight altercation as recently reported by Brian Williams on NBC Nightly Newshttp://scrnch.me/GirlBeatenAtBusTerminal.

What if this victim had been your daughter, son, mom, dad or other loved one, friend or colleague?  This is exactly why you can't afford to let someone else be in charge of your own personal security and safety.  Sadly, crime statistics reveal an average of more than 14,000 violent attacks occur on victims each and every day across the United States!  You MUST ALWAYS HAVE AN IMMEDIATE PLAN OF ACTION to stop a violent attack and not just "hope" some private security guard or trained law enforcement officer happens to come along and render assistance.  That could be way too late and you could be seriously injured or even dead!

Crime Is Down!  It's Down The Street!

Here's a link to my absolute NUMBER #1 non-lethal device recommendation to help keep you and your family members, friends, colleagues and associates ready and able to deal with any violent attacker or group of attackers at a moments notice: www.DignitaryProtectionLogistics.com.
